CVA Responds to House Vote on Iran War Powers Resolution
Congress took a necessary step to reassert its constitutional role in matters of war and peace. Veterans know better than most that decisions to use military force should be debated, authorized, and owned by the people’s representatives ― from the start of a conflict to the pursuit of a responsible diplomatic end.
Congress must bring that same commitment to accountability and restraint to every foreign engagement, especially those that demand years of American resources and come with significant long-term costs.
