CVA Thanks President Donald Trump for Signing the Continuing Resolution to Get Government Back to Work

ARLINGTON, Va. – Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) thanks President Donald Trump for signing the Continuing Resolution to reopen the federal government and end the longest shutdown in American history.

CVA Executive Director John Vick issued the following statement:

“The President has restored stability for our military families, veterans, federal workers, and countless Americans who have endured six weeks of uncertainty and financial strain. By moving to get government operations back on track, the President has taken an important step toward restoring confidence in the institutions that serve our nation.

Reopening the government ensures service members are paid, veterans receive the care they’ve earned, and essential national security operations continue without interruption. This is good news for the country and for those who serve it.”
