PROVIDE A STRONG NATIONAL DEFENSE THROUGH PRUDENT FOREIGN POLICY

ADVANCE BURDEN-SHIFTING IN EUROPE

A Europe that is not militarily self-sufficient and is constantly dependent on American military resources hurts U.S. vital national interests. Washington should encourage NATO-Europe to take on primary responsibility for the continent’s defense while reducing its regional military footprint in Europe.

RETHINK THE U.S. MIDDLE EAST FOOTPRINT

After two decades of war in the Middle East, the United States needs to reduce its military commitments in the region. America can pursue its regional interests through alternative means at lower cost, reducing the risks of strategic overstretch.

PROTECT THE CONDITIONS OF OUR PROSPERITY

SECURE AMERICA’S ECONOMIC FUTURE

Our $38 trillion-and-rising national debt is the greatest threat to America’s safety and prosperity. Excessive debt hurts America’s long-term strength by stagnating our economy and limiting our ability to react to serious threats. Institutional reforms can help Congress make better budgeting decisions to control spending while growing the economy.

BUILD AMERICAN STRENGTH THROUGH ROBUST GROWTH

A vibrant economy is the cornerstone of American prosperity at home and U.S. strength abroad. To remain internationally competitive and capable of defending its vital interests, the United States needs a pro-growth regulatory environment and the Congressional incentives that encourage one.

UNLEASH ENERGY ABUNDANCE

Access to affordable and abundant energy is the bedrock of American prosperity at home and a source of strength abroad. Energy abundance benefits U.S. consumers while offering a reliable supply source for our allies and partners, reducing dependence on global competitors and volatile regions. Eliminating burdensome energy regulations through permitting reform can unlock America’s full economic and strategic potential.

EMPOWER VETERANS WITH ACCESS TO QUALITY AND TIMELY HEALTH CARE

PROTECT AND EXPAND VETERANS’ HEALTH CARE CHOICES

America’s veterans have earned access to timely and quality health care. Our nation best honors this promise by empowering veterans with the freedom to seek care at the providers that best meet their needs. Empowering veterans to choose their provider can be a model for better health care for all Americans.

RESTORE A CULTURE OF ACCOUNTABILITY AT THE VA

Those entrusted to care for our nation’s veterans must meet the standards America expects of them. Congress can restore a culture of accountability at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) through robust oversight to ensure the agency is fulfilling its mission.
