Larry Richert to Emcee Defend Freedom Tour Event in Pittsburgh

Arlington, Va.Larry Richert, announcer at Heinz Field for the Steelers, will be the emcee for the Concerned Veterans for America’s Defend Freedom Tour event in Pittsburgh on Thursday, May 21.

Larry is an ambassador of the city of Pittsburgh and also a co-host for the KDKA Morning Show on News Radio 1020.

“I have the deepest respect for the men and women who serve and have served our country,” said Larry. “I’ve found that the overwhelming majority of people feel the same way, and I’m always happy to support efforts to improve the lives of these brave men and women.”

Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) is a national veterans advocacy organization, headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C., with state chapters around the U.S. Through the 23-city Defend Freedom Tour, CVA is building a movement of veterans, military family members and patriotic citizens who will fight for a free and prosperous America.

The Defend Freedom Tour will be in Pittsburgh at the Heinz History Center from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21.

The event program features inspirational speakers with amazing personal stories and a message of freedom. Speakers include decorated U.S. Army Ranger Sean Parnell, a Pittsburgh local and author of the New York Times best-seller “Outlaw Platoon,” along with Gold Star Mother Karen Vaughn, and Pete Hegseth, a Fox News contributor and CEO of CVA. Madison Rising, the nation’s most patriotic rock band, and rising country music star Ayla Brown will perform live.

Admission to this family-friendly event is FREE and includes a complimentary barbeque dinner. Attendees will have the chance to meet the cast and crew and learn how they can get involved in the fight to defend freedom in their own communities.
