By Concerned Veterans for America

Arlington, VA – Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) is launching a new tele-town hall series, “Future of the Courts.” CVA Executive Director Mark Lucas will partner with elected officials and legal experts to take a deep dive into veterans’ unique relationship with the U.S. Constitution, the role of the Supreme Court in American government, and the importance of having judges like Neil Gorsuch who respect individual liberty and the rule of law.

The first event will feature Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) on February 15 at 7PM ET. The group has also confirmed Senators Mike Lee (R-UT), Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Ben Sasse (R-NE) for future dates.

Concerned Veterans for America Executive Director Mark Lucas issued the following statement:

“Veterans have a sacred relationship with the Constitution we fought to protect, and we are deeply invested in the fight to confirm Neil Gorsuch in a clean, expedited process. Concerned Veterans for America is proud to partner with key allies in Congress to shed light on this important issue. Our hope is that through this series, our grassroots army will learn more about exactly why this fight is critical for the future of freedom in America.”

“Future of the Courts” tele-town halls are free and open to the press. To RSVP for the first Future of the Courts event with Senator Ernst, contact press@cv4a.org.
