August 16, 2017
Arlington, VA ― Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) Executive Director Mark Lucas issued the following statement regarding the Presidential signing of the bipartisan “Forever” GI Bill:
“Taking care of our veterans includes empowering them with the opportunity to succeed. The new GI Bill expands veterans’ access to education in a fiscally responsible manner, ensuring that the benefit will be available for generations to come. Many different organizations and elected officials came together to work on this bipartisan bill, and we want to commend Rep. Roe and Student Veterans of America for driving this effort from the beginning. We applaud President Trump for his continued dedication to helping veterans and support of meaningful reform.”
