CVA Welcomes Signs of De-Escalation in Iran Conflict
ARLINGTON, Va. ― Concerned Veterans for America welcomes recent developments suggesting progress toward de-escalation in the ongoing conflict with Iran, following President Trump’s reports of productive discussions and a temporary pause in planned U.S. strikes against Iranian energy facilities.
CVA Executive Director John Vick issued the following statement:
“It is encouraging to see movement toward de-escalation and a potential resolution to this conflict. The United States has achieved significant tactical success, and this moment presents an opportunity to bring the war to a close. As discussions continue, it is critical that our leaders remain focused on securing a durable end to hostilities that reflects America’s core national interests.
We continue to pray for the families of those who have lost their lives and for the safety of American service members deployed in harm’s way.”
CVA will continue to monitor developments and urges policymakers to prioritize a responsible conclusion to the conflict.
