CVA Urges Senate to Pass White House’s Rescissions Package

ARLINGTON, Va. ― Today, Concerned Veterans for America (CVA), the nation’s largest veteran-led grassroots advocacy organization, put out the following statement urging Congress to pass the White House’s rescissions package, which promises to save around $9 billion from the federal budget: 

“After decades of overspending and inefficiency, it’s time for Washington to finally solve for the wasteful spending and neglected oversight which adds to the threat of our national debt and leaves too many Americans in the dark about where their hard-earned taxpayer dollars are going. 

CVA urges the Senate to swiftly pass President Trump’s rescissions package. As veterans, we’ve done our part to keep Americans safe, secure, and prosperous. Now we’re calling on our elected leaders to do their part to protect America’s financial future.”
