CVA Urges House to Pass SPEED Act to Strengthen U.S. Energy Security
ARLINGTON, Va. ― This week, the U.S. House of Representatives is expected to consider H.R. 4776, the SPEED Act, alongside other permitting reform legislation. Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) is urging lawmakers to prioritize passage of the SPEED Act to speed up critical infrastructure development and strengthen America’s energy security.
“Unnecessary federal permitting delays continue to stall vital energy projects, drive up costs for families, and increase reliance on foreign competitors,” said John Vick, executive director of Concerned Veterans for America.
“The SPEED Act helps ensure America can build the energy infrastructure our economy and military depend on. Energy independence is a strategic advantage, and Congress should move quickly to advance this bipartisan reform. We urge House lawmakers to pass the SPEED Act and take a meaningful step toward a stronger, more secure energy future.”
