CVA Urges Congress to Pass the One Big Beautiful Bill Act

ARLINGTON, Va.―After months of negotiations, the House of Representatives has a chance to deliver real results―not just for veterans and their families, but for every American. John Vick, Executive Director of Concerned Veterans for America (CVA), is urging lawmakers to put politics aside and act in the best interest of their constituents by making tax relief permanent. Passing the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, is a critical step toward preserving the American Dream and securing long-term economic prosperity for our nation.

John Vick had this to say:

“If the House of Representatives fails to extend President Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, it will be responsible for triggering the largest tax hike in American history―harming families, crushing small businesses, stalling economic growth, and undermining American strength at home and abroad. Congress has a clear and moral choice: Act now to protect our future or stand by as Americans pay the price.

The House committees have made progress toward correcting harmful policies by the Biden Administration ―Americans are fed up with rising costs, out-of-control spending, and Green New Deal handouts. As veterans, we fought to defend this nation’s future. We know that economic strength is the foundation for our national strength. House Republicans must meet this moment, and we look forward to continuing this work in the Senate. We hope Congress will move quickly to send this bill to President Trump’s desk. pass H.R. 1―the One Big Beautiful Bill Act―and deliver the economic prosperity which all Americans deserve.”
