CVA Urges Congress to Advance Tax Cuts for America’s Economic Prosperity

By Concerned Veterans for America

ARLINGTON, Va.Today, John Vick, Executive Director of Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) released a statement calling for lawmakers to come together on behalf of their constituents to make tax relief permanent for Americans, preserving the American Dream and protecting our nation’s economic prosperity:

Failing to extend President Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act would impose the largest tax hike in U.S. history on American families and businesses. Congress must seize its opportunity to protect our long-term prosperity while improving the lives of middle-class Americans.

The American people sent a clear message last November: they are tired of massive tax hikes, higher prices, reckless government spending, and Biden-era “Green New Deal” giveaways. Congress must answer this call by moving budget reconciliation forward.

As veterans, we fought for a better future for our fellow Americans. We also understand that a strong economy is the bedrock of American strength at home and abroad. Today, CVA calls on Congress to act to protect the promise of long-term economic growth and prosperity for all Americans.”
