Grassroots veterans group issues call to build on past progress, keep veterans a priority in future efforts
ARLINGTON, Va.–Following Tuesday’s midterm elections, Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) Executive Director Dan Caldwell issued the following call to current and future members of Congress:
“We thank every American who made their voice heard by voting Tuesday. Congress and the President have made great progress in reforming the VA over the past two years, and we urge members – newly elected and returning alike – to build on this momentum to ensure our veterans can get the care they need, when and where they need it. CVA and its grassroots army is eager to work with lawmakers of both parties to continue bringing meaningful reforms to key institutions, rein in wasteful government spending, and to break down barriers that prevent veterans, military families, and all Americans from realizing their full potential.”
