CVA Statement on White House Meeting

By Concerned Veterans for America

Arlington, VA – Today Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) Executive Director Mark Lucas attended a listening session with President Trump, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Secretary David Shulkin, and representatives from other veterans’ organizations.

CVA Executive Director Mark Lucas issued the following statement:

“The President has outlined a bold vision of VA reform that includes choice and accountability, which are the type of reforms CVA has been advocating for years. We’re grateful that President Trump is prioritizing helping our veterans get the care they deserve and that he has given us a seat at the table in these important discussions. We look forward to partnering with this administration to advance solutions that get the bad VA employees out and empower veterans to make their own decisions over their health care.”
