CVA Statement on Passage of “Forever” GI Bill
August 2, 2017
Arlington, VA ― Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) Policy Director Dan Caldwell issued the following statement after the Senate passage of the “Forever” GI Bill tonight:
“Veterans can now look forward to a newly-reformed GI Bill program which will be around for generations to come. Importantly, the new GI Bill expands access in a fiscally responsible manner. The Senate did the right thing by getting this done before recess. Veterans should never have to wonder if they are a priority of lawmakers.”
