CVA to Senate: Pass “Forever” GI Bill Immediately
August 1, 2017
Arlington, VA ― Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) Policy Director Dan Caldwell issued the following statement on the “Forever” GI Bill:
“The new GI Bill addresses the current gaps in the program and expands accessibility in a fiscally responsible manner, ensuring that these resources will be available for generations of veterans to come. The bill has passed the House unanimously and there is no reason to delay voting on it in the Senate. It is inexcusable for this measure to not pass before recess.”
