CVA on Senate Failure to Pass FY 2026 Defense Appropriations Bill
ARLINGTON, Va. ―Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) Executive Director John Vick issued the following statement:
“Thursday’s Senate vote failing to pass the FY 2026 Defense Appropriations bill is deeply disappointing and unacceptable. Our men and women in uniform should never be caught in the middle of Washington’s dysfunction or left wondering when their next paycheck will come.
Congress must act immediately to restore military pay and end the government shutdown. America deserves better than governing by crisis ― it’s time for our leaders to put politics aside and ensure stability for our troops and for all Americans.”
