CVA Launches TV, Digital and Mail Campaign Thanking Sen. Toomey for His Early Support of VA Accountability
$1.5 Million Statewide Spend Begins Today in Pennsylvania, Continues Ongoing CVA Push to Advance Real VA Reform

Arlington, Va. – Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) today launched a $1.5 million TV, digital video and direct mail campaign in Pennsylvania thanking Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA) for his commitment to getting veterans the care and benefits they deserve and for fighting to hold the VA accountable for its failures.

CVA CEO Pete Hegseth issued the following statement on the launch of the campaign:

“Concerned Veterans for America is grateful for Sen. Toomey’s commitment to ensuring that America’s veterans received the care they earned and deserved, in addition to being a leader in the fight to hold VA bureaucrats accountable for failing Pennsylvania veterans. Unlike many members of Congress, Sen. Toomey was fighting to reform and fix the VA long before the VA wait list scandal broke last year and, worked across the aisle to advance VA reform in congress. Sen. Toomey was one of the first Senate co-sponsors of the VA Accountability Act – a bill which makes it easier to fire bad VA employees and which just yesterday passed the House and now heads to the Senate.

“Sen. Toomey’s actions make it clear that veterans issues are a top priority, and CVA wants Pennsylvanians to understand and appreciate his efforts to fix the VA and hold the VA accountable for failing America’s veterans. This effort is part of a long-standing and ongoing effort by CVA to advance meaningful reforms at the VA. CVA will continue to highlight policymakers who take the lead in advancing VA reform and will hold accountable those who defend the failing status quo.”
