Arlington, VA – Ahead of the expected Senate floor vote on the Supreme Court nomination this Friday, Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) is dropping a fourth and final pro-Gorsuch direct mail targeted at Senator Jon Tester (D-MT). Senator Tester recently said that Judge Gorsuch deserves a “fair shake,” but shortly after flip-flopped and announced that he will oppose the confirmation of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. Tester is up for re-election in 2018.

CVA Executive Director Mark Lucas issued the following statement:
“Gorsuch’s unparalleled experience and principled approach to interpreting the rule of law proves he will respect the Constitution that so many Americans veterans fought and sacrificed to defend. We will continue pressuring Senator Tester to end his political theater, do right by Montanans and vote to confirm Judge Gorsuch on Friday.”

CVA has made nearly 25,000 calls to constituents in Montana, asking them to contact Senator Tester in support of Gorsuch. The group has also launched web ads, three other waves of direct mail, and is promoting a digital tool which allows constituents to contact Senator Tester directly via Facebook, Twitter, and email.
