Concerned Veterans for America Statement On Election Results
Results Show Country Not Happy With Current Failed Policies, Congress Should Focus on Reform

Arlington, Va. – Today, Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) CEO Pete Hegseth made the following statement on the results of yesterday’s election:

“The results from yesterday’s election clearly demonstrate that the country is not at all satisfied with the failed policies of the current administration and current Congress. Veterans, active duty military members, and their families have been especially impacted by the failures at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the lack of a clear national security strategy, and inefficiencies and budgetary pressures within the Department of Defense (DoD). These issues no doubt were on the minds of many veterans when they voted on Election Day.

“Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) will continue to aggressively advocate for VA and DoD reform, a strong national defense, and debt reduction through our grassroots activist base. As was the case in 2014, CVA will also not hesitate to hold elected officials accountable, regardless of party, when they fail to implement those policies or fail to live up to the promises they made during the election.”
