JOHN VICK TO LEAD LARGEST NATIONAL GRASSROOTS VETERANS ADVOCACY GROUP

ARLINGTON, Va. – Building off the success of the last 13 years, Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) announced John Vick was named the organization’s new executive director as CVA aims to broaden its advocacy footprint in Washington and in states across the country.

Vick, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and Navy, who continues to serve in the Navy Reserve, will bring to the role his extensive experience in grassroots leadership and political advocacy, as well as his resolute passion for amplifying veteran voices in all aspects of American governance, to shape a positive future for all Americans.

John Vick had this to say about taking on his new role:

“This is an incredibly exciting time to join this organization, and it is a tremendous honor to lead CVA in its next era of growth. Veterans and military families have always desired and deserved to be a trusted voice in every aspect of American governance – whether that is VA health care, foreign policy, the economy, or government accountability. CVA is the only national organization in the United States which is dedicated to that specific purpose, and our grassroots victories across the country, our legislative victories on the Hill, and our focus on constitutional government are a natural extension of the American values each of us has fought to protect.”

Nate Anderson, CVA’s interim executive director praised Vick:

“John Vick is the right leader for this new chapter in CVA’s journey. The organization’s success over the past 13 years is a validation of CVA’s original vision where veterans can continue their service to this country and offer their trusted voices to help shape a better America. We have so much more to do, and it will be exciting to watch CVA accomplish incredible things with John out front.”
