Concerned Veterans for America-Minnesota to Host Rally Before Minneapolis VA Town Hall on Friday
CVA-Minnesota Will Rally for VA Accountability
Arlington, Va. – Concerned Veterans for America-Minnesota on Friday, Sept. 12, will hold a rally at 9:00 a.m. before the Minneapolis VA Health Care System town hall meeting begins at 9:30 a.m.
Last week two former Minneapolis VA hospital employees came forward saying they were fired after trying to alert top VA officials that they had been instructed to falsify patient appointment dates and medical records as part of a cover-up hiding delays in patient care, KARE reported.
Minneapolis VA Medical Center is only the latest VA hospital where whistleblowers have come forward to expose deliberate manipulation of patients’ wait time for care. Similar cases have been reported in VA facilities across the country.
