Concerned Veterans for America Applauds Approval of Fleming Amendment

By Concerned Veterans for America

Arlington, Va. — Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) Vice President for Political and Legislative Action Dan Caldwell released the following statement regarding the House’s approval of the Fleming amendment to this year’s National Defense Authorization Act:

“The House has done the right thing in approving the Fleming amendment to this year’s National Defense Authorization Act. The amendment will ensure the military stays focused on its primary mission: keeping Americans safe. Initiatives which distract the military from this mission, and which waste taxpayer resources, should be eliminated by Congress. The Senate should do the right thing and adopt Fleming’s amendment in preparing its own legislation.”
