Concerned Veterans for America Announces Partnership with Freedom Alliance to Promote 2015 Defend Freedom Tour

By Concerned Veterans for America

Arlington, Va. – Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) today announced Freedom Alliance as a partner on CVA’s Defend Freedom Tour.

Each event on this nationwide tour is free, family-friendly and features an energizing concert, as well as an amazing panel of patriotic speakers and celebrity special guests—including Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, founder of Freedom Alliance.

Pete Hegseth, CEO of CVA, issued the following statement in reaction:

“We are so thankful for the opportunity to work with Freedom Alliance on the 2015 Defend Freedom Tour and honored to have Lieutenant Colonel North personally join us as a special guest on a few of these tour stops. Both CVA and Freedom Alliance value our service members and actively strive to advance and defend the freedom and prosperity they fought to protect—making this partnership a natural fit.

“Now in its fourth year, the Defend Freedom Tour has gained an incredible amount of momentum. It’s not just a series of events; it’s a movement. Veterans and military families aren’t happy with the direction our country is going. They’re looking for a way to get us back on track, and with Freedom Alliance on our side, that’s exactly what we’re fighting for on the Defend Freedom Tour.”

Tom Kilgannon, President of Freedom Alliance, issued the following statement:

“CVA is a great organization that does fantastic work. They are mobilizing America’s veterans and elevating the voices of heroes and patriots who have been neglected by this Administration. We are eager and honored to participate in this effort as we join CVA in their tour across the country. Along the way, we will introduce America to military heroes and their families who receive assistance from Freedom Alliance.”

Freedom Alliance is a charitable organization which provides help and support to wounded troops and military families. Freedom Alliance provides college scholarships to children of military heroes who sacrificed life or limb for our country; supports injured troops with rehabilitative hunting and fishing retreats; all-terrain track chairs for amputees; mortgage-free homes for deserving veterans and much more.

CVA is a national veterans and military families organization that advocates for policies that promote the freedom and prosperity that we and our families so proudly fought and sacrificed to defend.

Patriots on Tour include: Pete Hegseth, CEO of Concerned Veterans for America; Sean Parnell, decorated Army Ranger and New York Times bestselling author of “Outlaw Platoon”; Karen Vaughn, SEAL Team Six Gold Star Mother; Madison Rising, America’s most patriotic rock band; rising country music star Ayla Brown; and many, many more.
