Concerned Veterans for America Announces

2015 Defend Freedom Tour

23-city Tour Kicks-off April 17 in New York City with Fox & Friends

Arlington, Va. – Concerned Veterans for America (CVA), a leading national veterans’ advocacy organization, today announced the launch of the 2015 National Defend Freedom Tour including an all-star lineup of prominent speakers, performers and special guests with a mission to deliver a simple message to cities across the country – honor service, defend freedom and take action.

The tour is scheduled to visit 23 cities in 12 states beginning April 17th and running through September 11th weekend:

New York                     Ohio                     Pennsylvania

Texas                     Virginia                     Florida

The Defend Freedom Tour, kicking off April 17th in New York City with Fox & Friends, welcomes all veterans, military families and patriotic Americans. Every event is FREE to attend and will feature performances by patriotic rock band Madison Rising, country music singer Ayla Brown, and a lineup of speakers who bring an unparalleled message of service and freedom. These speakers motivate and provide the foundation for fellow veterans—and all Americans—to once again take up the fight to defend freedom and opportunity in America.

Speakers include:

  • Captain Sean Parnell, U.S. Army Ranger and author of New York Times bestseller “Outlaw Platoon”
  • Karen Vaughn, Founder of For Our Son, Gold Star Mother of fallen Navy SEAL, Aaron Carson Vaughn (SEAL Team VI)
  • Pete Hegseth, CEO of Concerned Veterans for America and Fox News contributor
  • Many special guests to be announced soon, including: Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, Navy SEAL Jason Redman, CIA Operative Gary Berntsen, Medal of Honor Recipient Dakota Meyer, and more…

“Concerned Veterans for America is excited to bring our message of action to veterans and military families across the country this year, building on our successful Defend Freedom Tours in 2013 and 2014,” said Pete Hegseth, CEO of CVA. “Our previous events inspired attendees and helped veterans organize in their communities to continue to fight for the freedom and prosperity here at home that they fought for while in uniform. We look forward to bringing this message to almost twice as many cities this year—and expect an even greater response to building a movement that makes veterans’ voices heard.”

At the events, guests are encouraged to visit the CVA action center to sign up to get involved in CVA’s proprietary grassroots trainings. Guests of the Defend Freedom Tour will have the opportunity to organize within their communities to advocate for a strong America, improve the well-being of veterans and their families and hold status-quo politicians—of all stripes—accountable.
