Angela Jander

Angela Jander is a grassroots engagement director with Concerned Veterans for America in Texas. 

Angela has been a passionate supporter of veterans since a young age. Both her father and stepfather served in the Army during the Vietnam War, and Angela saw first-hand the effects war had on both of them, specifically with PTSD.  

She seen her dad struggle to get the care he needs from the Department of Veterans Affairs, and that has spurred her into advocacy work to fix the broken system. 

Angela can tell the story that too often goes unheard – the story of family members who struggle alongside and support the veterans they love. She uses her family’s experiences to fight for better care for veterans like her dad. 

Angela joined CVA as a volunteer in 2022 and came on full-time in 2024. She lives in Clyde, Texas.
