Concerned Veterans for America Encourages Lawmakers to Approve the VA Accountability Act

By Concerned Veterans for America

Arlington, Va. — Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) Press Secretary John Cooper released the following statement encouraging lawmakers to vote on and approve the VA Accountability Act as part of the Fiscal Year 2017 National Defense Authorization Act:

“Once again the Senate has the chance to do right by our veterans and pass the VA Accountability Act as an amendment to the FY 2017 National Defense Authorization Act. While some members of the Senate have recently voiced support for accountability as a concept, their actions have not matched their rhetoric. The VA Accountability Act is the only proposal in Congress that will bring true accountability to the Department of Veterans Affairs. It deserves an up-or-down vote in the Senate, and the endorsement of every senator who claims to support our veterans.”
