Shae Diehl is a grassroots engagement director with Concerned Veterans for America in Virginia, and a veteran of the United States Navy.
Born in Cherokee Nation, Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Shae graduated from Wagoner High School in 2009. She joined the U.S. Navy in 2013 and was stationed onboard the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6) in Sasebo, Japan where she conducted aircraft launch and recovery as an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate Aircraft Handler Airman.
Shae left active duty in 2016 to start a family and pursue a career in science. She later graduated from Texas A&M University – Kingsville with a bachelor’s degree in in geology. While studying Shae got involved in veteran advocacy, working with the Student Veterans Association on campus. This work gave Shae a greater love and passion for helping other veterans achieve success after leaving the military.
Shae lives in Norfolk with her husband, who is active duty with the Navy, and their son.
