Happy birthday to the Air Force Reserve

By Concerned Veterans for America

Happy birthday to the Air Force Reserve

69 years ago, President Harry Truman called for the Air Force Reserve to be established. Following World War II, it was clear that the United States had to remain ready for battle in the sky.

Since its formation, the Air Force Reserve has become an invaluable asset to the Air Force and military as a whole. The Reserve performs about 20 percent of the Air Force’s work, both traditional and specialized.

We’re thankful today for the men and woman who stand ready when needed in the Air Force Reserve. Happy birthday!

  • We agree w Shulkin: new Office of Accountability will be great, but Congress needs to pass a strong bill to make it… https://t.co/bXmgE5KKd4

  • If a handful of politicians don’t understand the importance of #freespeech, rest assured: veterans certainly do. https://t.co/fDp7LfHu2e

  • .@SenBillNelson isn’t supporting legislation that could help end the VA drug theft scandal. https://t.co/15QJ47RHlm

  • Gov. Martinez protected free speech, but New Mexicans must remain vigiliant about beating back threats against #1A. https://t.co/OJHWzWWiuC

  • Even if those responsble for these missing FL drugs are found, the VA could take months or even years to fire them. https://t.co/cubyEz2Mal

  • Huge THANKS to @RoyBlunt for supporting our veterans and cosponsoring the VA Accountability First Act of 2017!
